Structure

   The workshop is located on a total area of ​​1400 m2:

   Inside:

      800 m2 with a height of 8 m equipped with a bridge crane with a lifting capacity of 10 tons.

      Four welding stations with extraction system and welding fume filtering.

      Welders and positioners for handling the pieces to be welded.

   Outside:

      For loading and unloading operations, material handling and storage of approximately 600 m2.

 

Machinery

   Our welding machines  and the welding support equipment ( e.g. ovens and holding ovens ) are

   calibrated according to current legislation ( EN IEC 60974-14 & EN 3834-2 ).

   We have rotary tables of various sizes with a maximum capacity of 3500 kg and roller positioners for

   larger appliances.

   Furthermore, the workshop has two beams available for submerged arc welding with a maximum

   capacity of 3mt x 3mt with 1000A generator calibrated following the same legislation as the other

   welding machines.

   The 10 ton overhead crane and the large entrance to the building allows the workshop to work on

   projects of large dimensions, the workshop can also operate on project weighing more than 10

   tons; 20 ton exchangers have already been built without particular problems.

 

Our services

   Casinghini Manufacturing proposes itself as a company for the prefabrication and welding of pressure

   equipment.

   The welding procedures used are TIG ( 141 ), Electrode ( 111 ), MIG and Submerged Arc ( 121 ).

   The welds are performed by qualified personnel following procedures ( PQR ) in accordance with the

   ASME or EN standards, certified by external bodies ( TÜV, INAIL ... ).

   Upon request, we can prepare the welding procedure specifications ( WPS ) and issue the Welding Book

   with the weld map.

   Qualified internal personnel for PT examination in accordance with EN 3452.

   Other non-destructive tests or mechanical tests are commissioned to external companies.

   At the end of the manufacturing process, we can carry out the hydrostatic test of the manufactured

   equipment.

 

Quality

   The workshop has obtained the ISO9001 qualification and has started the procedure to achive the ISO3834-2 qualification.
